And who better to introduce them than my fellow favourite cartoon the Minions?
As a kid, I was already a huge fan of bananas namely thanks to the original Banana in Pyjamas tv series. Oh how I remember the days of tuning in the TV singing…
From birthday badges, a birthday cake, the stuffed B1 or B2 to my mug, I was the ultimate fan! Flashback to last year, it was a journey back to childhood as B1 and B2 were standing in front of the bookstore entrance! (*regret not being in the photo to have a then and now shot!)
While these days it’s less about the B1 & B2- I’m still a huge fan of the fruit. That itself hasn’t died down π

π Partly the reason why I dislike summer is cause I can’t have them. All in the name to avoid getting bitten seeing as it’s the ultimate attraction for mozzies to bite.
π Bananas smoothies made at home will never ever taste as good as the ones bought. After years of making banana smoothies at home, I figured no matter I do; add honey, change up the milk, use pretty ripe bananas- it never tastes as good! I’ve discovered the secret to really good banana smoothies is either fork out the $6.95 to subway or take a job there hoping to discover the secret recipe. Or could it be as simple as super duper ripe bananas?
π Banana oat smoothies are the best!
π Most delicious fruit to incorporate in any type of breakfast from cereal, oatmeal and cinnamon, pancakes- wherever your imagination takes you!
Till tomorrow or should I say the day after C! We bloggers get Sundays off for the blog challenge π

Love the minions AND bananas. I live in Ecuador where we have these cool little finger bananas as well as the regular bananas we love in the States. The difference is they ripen on the tree instead of being picked green to be shipped. Mmm good!
