#15. Operate a washing machine

Growing up I rarely used/had to operate a washing machine for my clothes. Seeing how we had a top loader, it would pretty much go on a rampage (oh believe me, it actually flooded the laundry room once with just socks and towels!). So handwash was the norm (so old school).

#14: Negotiate assertively with your neighbour ;)

When your balcony is in close proximity with your neighbour, sometime or another~ at some point or another, you’ll have to negotiate with them. Every neighbour has their quirks and pros. And unless you’re planning to lock yourself in your apartment without never opening your balcony door regardless how stuffy it is and living in noise cancelling headphones for eternity- you’re going to have to talk to them. 😉
