Flashback to History of Melbourne

Day #3 of the unexpected long weekend- partly cause of hayfever cold blues (gosh Spring is not fun this year) and the AFL Finale! This was so not how I envisioned my long weekend last week. But seeing as I can’t wander out there, thought it was about time that I finally got around to my way back when posts! Starting with the epic History of Melbourne Exhibition 😉

First thoughts? Super warm in the Melbourne Town Hall! And it was definitely smaller than I expected. Bonus though. Cause it was Friday night and everyone else was out and about, I had the whole gallery to myself, the only visitor!

Which gave me heaps of freedom to tippy toe up to the celing wall to get the amazing shots of artistically drawn Melbourne! Such skill and talent 😉

An awesome flashback in time of what Melbourne was and could be 😉 Bring on 2026! (Thanks to The Age for sourcing the credentials of the work).
