Never been a fan of nectarines as I’ve always favoured their counterpart peaches πŸ˜‰ But turns out all this time I’ve always been a secret fan of them. As they are none other than my favourite blossoms to see in Spring!

Although peaches are still my preferred- partly because my favourite childhood novel was James & the Giant Peach by Roald Dahl, they are quite similar. They simply are more smaller, less fluffy outer-coating on the skin, and are either cream, white or yellow inside. The wonderful aroma of nectarines is just as prominent as in peaches πŸ˜‰

Fun facts about NectarinesΒ

πŸ˜‰ Just like peaches, nectarines origin comes from the ancient silk route of China across Central Asia and Persia to Europe.

πŸ˜‰ White and pinkish flowers galore just like the Sakura blossoms mean nectarines are on the way!
