G is for Garlic – Day #7

Garlic by Juicing for Health

Mmmmmm garlic. πŸ˜‰ From the myths of fending off vampires to the traditional Italian garlic bread to garlic cheesy toasts, garlic has already been around in some form or another. And of course with flu season on the way, it’s time to stock up on garlic!

I was kinda a mediocre fan of garlic until recent years when my mum came home with garlic chapattis (traditional Indian wrap/bread). They were ding dang delicious. The crispiness. The aroma. The perfect crunch afternoon tea! Gosh I wish I had some now πŸ˜‰ They taste soooo good! (Atta food garlic chapattis).

Beyond the deliciousness, garlic isn’t only just used in foods! It’s in flu protective vitamins, handmade beauty masks to combat acne to of course delicious food =)

Fun facts about garlic

πŸ˜‰ Usual special properties here! Cancer fighting, flu warrior, it’s amazing.

πŸ˜‰ Anti bacteria warrior too!

πŸ˜‰ Not only enhances the cardiovascular (heart system) but also acts an inflammatory.

World’s Healthiest Food thanks again!

No need to fear the garlic breathe no more!

Stopping by from A to Z, The Bookwright. Your garlic took me to your ‘About’ home entry. About being a writer, I agree. And I like that you get up at 4 a.m. to write. I often get up between 3 and 4, but it’s because I have a morning cat who doesn’t like to be the only one in the house up.
