It’s that time of the year again where November is just about to wrap up Spring. Which means Summer is on the way!
So it makes sense that the photo of the day is…
Yep! Subway’s pineapples 😉 Nothing says summer than pineapples =) delicious, juicy and oh so sweet! 😉
Word of the day
I’ve always been enthralled by how the 3 months of Summer seem to last forever. Where time is endless, the sun takes forever to set and you feel like you have so many hours in the day to do everything 😉
Song of the day
Hope you guys don’t mind, another Kodaline song (yet again! They have such an awesome repertoire of music, I just can’t help picking their songs 😉 tomorrow will be a non Kodaline song.
For me, the end of the year has always been a time of reflection- looking back at the ups and downs 😉 To the best day evers to the I can’t believe that just happened moments, it’s what made my 2015! Interestingly, retail has already been getting ready for the new year for 2016 since mid year (crazy right?), diaries, planners, calendars, you name it- 2016 merchandise stuff has been on the shelf for a while now…
But most enthralling truth is that we don’t actually get ready for 2016 till the end of the year. Right now it may be the time where you’re practicing driving to get your licence, job hunting to get set for Jan (I know I am for both!), polishing off your writer’s manuscript for publishing, spring cleaning your closet or dare I say it- coming up with New Year resolutions and actually doing them. Just wrapping up everything before 2015 ends.
How has 2015 been for you? Has it been a year where everything that has happened was full of surprises? Or has it been a year when you feel like you’ve always been stuck in second gear (ooh I may be hinting tomorrow’s song 😉 and honestly can’t wait for a fresh start? No matter how 2015 has been for you, 2016 means a new beginning. For you to chase your dreams and passions, to do what you love, and to not let the pressure overpower the fun and tell you what you can’t do ;). Sure life sometimes doesn’t turn out the way we thought it would, but honestly it’s what keeps it interesting! The excitement of not knowing.
Regardless of what life throws at us, we need to be ready to take action and not fall prone to sitting back idly and passively waiting for the amazing to happen 😉 Because what we tend to regret most is not what we did, but what we didn’t do- so 2016 is a time to take new chances!
When 2016 comes filled with new challenges and stories, will you be ready?
